This is a pretty cool app, if only to teach some of the basics of photography with simulated aperture settings. Great video to see the capabilities of the BigLens app.

So I gave this a try on my desktop first and let it import all the images in my "Photos" directory. I sat there horrified as it dredged up thousands of images that I'd forgotten about, or would otherwise not want to have in a photo library. (Get your mind out of the gutter -- I'm talking about hundreds of useless security camera snapshots, graphic design projects, etc.)

So, it seemed too overwhelming to let it chew on all of my existing photos. Therefore, I stopped the process and deleted that carousel, which was quite difficult to do.

I'm a bit gun shy at this point. Not sure if I'll be heading back in to the carousel any time soon.
